Despite the rumours, we’re happy to report that there’s actually tons of cool things to do in Sydney late at night if you know where to look. Which, if you’re here, is a great start. Winter 2023 is especially looking to be an excellent time for night owls with underground parties, glow-in-the-dark festivals and epic drone shows taking over the city. Another after-hours event to add to your list comes courtesy of Wild Life Sydney Zoo who’re doing torch-lit tours called Wild Nights later this month.
Wild Nights Zoo Tours
If you’ve ever wanted to see your favourite animals at night, here’s your chance. On these exclusive 60-minute tours led by zookeepers, guests will get to see the night-time antics of the Tassie devils, Sydney’s only crocodilian throuple, an endangered tree-kangaroo and an adorable koala joey up close. The family-friendly tours will run exclusively during Vivid Sydney on May 26 and 27 and June 2 and 3.
That’s not the only late-night event that is set to illuminate your social calendar this winter. Wild Lights over at Taronga Zoo will feature everything from koalas and dingos to kangaroos, emus and platypuses from May 26-June 17.
Tickets for Wild Nights zoo tours are now on sale with only a limited number of spots available. Book yours here.
