Snuggling up in igloos and dining domes is one of the best ways to ward off the seasonal blues and still enjoy the outdoors in winter. After delighting Sydneysiders last year, the Raclette Igloo experience has returned to Sydney this July with winter-warming treats and fire pits with marshmallows surrounded by stunning city views and star-studded skies, all inside their glowing domes.
The Raclette Igloo Experience, Sydney
This dreamy experience brings the enchanting Alpine regions of France to life in the heart of the city complete with seasonally inspired treats and many picture-perfect elements.
The menu includes raclette cheese, mulled wine, and warm Belgian thick chocolate with roasted marshmallows for dessert. You’ll get to indulge in these tasty treats while staying warm and toasty in a transparent igloo surrounded by twinkling fairy lights. There are also fire pits and falling snow to enjoy in an intimate setting under the stars.
You can get your hands on 2 kilos of raclette cheese and a selection of four exquisite, cured meats, served with a side of boiled potatoes, pickled onions, and cornichons. There is also mulled wine to sip on, which goes perfectly with raclette, plus French wines and sodas.
The twinkling dining experience coincides with the annual Bastille Festival so you can celebrate all things French with flair this July.
The Raclette Igloo experience will take place at the Broadway Shopping Center Rooftop this year until July 28. The igloos can accommodate a party of 6 to 8 people. Tickets are sure to sell out fast, book a spot here.
