French Market, Killarney Heights
Back in its 16th edition and after two years of covid cancellations, the market is welcoming Sydneysiders to enjoy the crispy spring sun, the aroma of sublime French food and a shared sense of community.
For a hearty meal, head over to the many food stalls on-site and enjoy crepes, waffles, cheese, truffle products and fine regional food. You can also tuck into delectable foie gras, duck confit, saucissons and more. It’s a true slice of France right here at home.
50 vendors will set up stalls at the venue and you can get your hands on everything from home decor, art, ceramics, jewellery, giftware and original books. Fashion lovers can hunt down the famous marinières, cirés bretons, the French espadrilles, classic berets and bags.
Along with shopping and food, the market is also serving up some live music and entertainment. Kids can expect dodgem cars, bouncing castles and slides making it an enjoyable day out for both kids and adults.
The French Market is organised by the French-speaking association of the North Shore and it’s all happening this Sunday. Head to their Facebook event page for further details on stallholders.
