If you’re racing to get your Easter shopping sorted, there’s a huge market coming to town this weekend. Featuring a curated lineup of over 120 top-notch stalls showcasing the best of what the city has to offer, the Makers and Shakers Market will return for a weekend edition on April 1 and 2. Browse through some of Sydney’s finest locally made homewares, food and sustainable fashion at the two-day event and take part in a flower session with Blume Flower School.
The Makers and Shakers Market
The market will be held at the picturesque White Bay Cruise Terminal with panoramic views of the harbour and the city skyline. The shopping experience promises to be stellar with homewares, tasty food and sustainable fashion on the cards. Participating stallholders include Voluptuary Ceramics, Amacyn Natural Perfume and Alana Douvros Jewellery among others.
Naturally, you’ll work up an appetite with all the browsing and walking around. Grab delicious donuts from Donut Papi or get your fill of buttered bagels from Brooklyn Boy Bagels. You’ll also find Portuguese tarts, coffee from Coffee on Cue and Marrickville’s Mobius Distillery Co on-site.
The Makers & Shakers Market is a mixed indoor and outdoor event with a focus on Australian-made products. This is a great opportunity to show up and support local brands and discover excellent knick-knacks. The markets will take place from 10am-4pm on both days. Grab your tickets here.
