Opera Bar Are Adding A Splash Of Patrón Tequila To Their Summer Of Live Music

One tequila, two tequila, three tequila…

Earlier in the summer, Opera Bar invited ten of Sydney’s best small bars to take over and transform their space into the most sought after cocktail destination anywhere in Australia. It was for one weekend only, but after the year we had, it was obvious cocktails and live music was going to be hit. (Featured image: @susan_kuriakose)

So, following on from that inaugural cocktail festival, Opera Bar is keeping the good times going with Summer of Tequila loaded up with more cocktails. But, you just know that if there is a way to take your summer up a level or two, tequila is key. And featuring six specially crafted Patrón cocktails and live music every day (leading up to and including Australia Day), this is one party too good to turn down.

The six Patron cocktails are made with seasonal summer ingredients, as well as some Australian native botanicals, and have been divvied up into three categories—spicy, refreshing, and big—to make your drink selection that little bit easier.

The Watermelon Paloma, Quandong Margarita, Agave Colada, and the Cucumber & Agave Gimlet are all made with Patrón Silver. Whereas the Reposado El Diablo is made with Patrón Reposado and the Añejo Rosita with Patrón Añejo.

All Patrón tequila cocktails are priced at $20. But if you’re not into these modern and tequila twists on the classics, classic tequila cocktails including margaritas will still be available on request.

In terms of music, local artists and DJs will be taking to the stage every day to soundtrack your tequila and harbourside views. During the week, performances will take place from 6pm to 9pm (10pm on Thursday and Friday). To see the full line up, head over here.
