1. Warner Bros. Studios’ 100th Anniversary Candlelight Concert
Warner Bros. marks 100 years of storytelling this 2023. To celebrate, Warner Bros. and Fever have partnered together to honour the studio’s most adored projects. “Candlelight: 100 Years of Warner Bros.” will perform orchestral renditions of songs from series like Friends and films such as The Exorcist and A Star is Born, in an impressive global tour featuring 100 concerts in 100 cities. Sydney is amongst the first 25 chosen cities to witness this extraordinary celebration firsthand in tribute to the noteworthy legacy of this legendary movie studio.
2. Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration

3. Golden Age Cinema
Take your movie night to a new level of class and enjoy a flick at The Golden Age Cinema. Dating back to the 1940’s this cinema was the original underground theatre for Paramount Pictures. With an art deco bar, and only 60 seats, this is an intimate and luxurious twist on a usual theatre experience. Good news for Sydney movie lovers – after a 7-year gap, IMAX is coming back and they’ve promised the most advanced theatre experience to date! Event Cinemas is heading up the ambitious venture – due to open at The Ribbon in Darling Harbour. The new theatre promises to include the newest technology in the film industry, and movie-goers can expect to be wowed at the opening! The exact opening date has not been announced yet, but we are waiting in anticipation.
5. Skyline Drive In
There’s a reason drive-in cinemas were so popular in the 1950’s, and now you can experience why! Skyline Drive In screens the latest Hollywood blockbusters, while allowing guests to order drinks and food from their retro diner menu. All you need is an FM Radio to tune into the movies sound. 6. Hanz Zimmer Candlelight Concert

7. Dirty Dancing In Concert
Nobody puts Baby in a corner, and nobody gives up an opportunity to see Dirty Dancing live! Some movies are too good to just remain on screen, and with its incredible soundtrack and magnetic choreography, Dirty Dancing was destined for the stage. The incredible stage production is returning to Australia, complete with pelvic thrusts, 80’s hairdos, and the iconic lift we have all emulated in our living rooms. The production will be touring around Australia arriving in Sydney on September 2 at Darling Harbour Theatre.
