When it comes to the big-screen cinema experience, it doesn’t get bigger and better than IMAX. And some movies deserve the IMAX treatment. In some good news for Sydney film buffs, after nearly 7 years, IMAX Sydney has reopened this week, in the same location as the original IMAX which closed back in 2016. The long-awaited new venue is being touted as IMAX’s “most advanced theatre experience ever.” EVT, the brand behind Event Cinemas is bringing the ambitious new venture to town and it’s officially opened as of today, Wednesday, October 11.
