Luna Park is getting a brand-new immersive attraction following an ambitious $15m transformation. The experience has been dubbed Dream Circus and features 360-degree visual and audio projections, live music performances and captivating technology that promises to bring a slice of Hollywood glitz to town this festive season.
Luna Park’s Dream Circus
Luring thrill seekers out of their homes once again, the amusement park will launch its brand new experience this summer on December 22 just in time for the holidays. The first-of-its-kind attraction is taking a fever dream and combining it with 360-degree projections, hologram technology, dazzling lights and surround sounds to transport visitors to a dreamlike place. The park’s 3000-square-metre big top is where it’ll all happen with the display and sounds filling up an area of over 3500 square metres.
And you don’t have to worry about missing out, the futuristic experience is set to be a permanent attraction at Luna Park. The vibrant new space has been developed locally by Artists in Motion, TDC and Auditoria, who have previously displayed their works at Vivid. The 88-year-old art-deco amusement park which just hosted another successful edition of Halloscream aims to bridge the gap between the old and the new with this latest offering and give people a chance to escape into another dimension at the technology-driven experience.
Opening in the middle of the peak festive season means crowds will naturally flock to the big top with an anticipated 50,000 set to step inside the Dream Circus this summer. Tickets will set you back by $35 for children and $45 for adults and can be booked at the Luna Park website.
