Summer is so close, we can almost feel it. The blissful return of summer temps also usher in days filled with breezy alfresco dining and outdoorsy events. And just like clockwork new dining experiences are popping up to help us make the most of the season. From Al Aseel’s swanky new Parramatta outpost to a new alfresco spritz and snacks bar — there’s heaps to choose from. Now a new Italian restaurant has popped up in the heart of Leichhardt and it’s serving up much more than just pasta. La Bottega is the newest kid on the cafe block and it’s a sunny cafe with ample outdoor seating, traditional Italian bites and an easy, casual atmosphere ideal for the season.
La Bottega, Leichhardt
This trendy new space is offering a relaxing time out with drinks, bites and good vibes. Flaunting bright yellow and white hues inspired by the Italian coast, the cafe offers a number of classic Italian dishes including brandy-infused prawns, bruschetta, homemade bolognese ragu, burgers, sandwiches and lots of salads. Drink offerings include everything from fresh juices to smoothies, coffees, wine, beer and of course, refreshing spritz. La Bottega is also pup-friendly with a pup-a-licious menu for your furry friends.
Leichhardt is famously called Little Italy so it’s only fitting that this chill new spot found its home in this inner west suburb.
Sydney weather has been something out of a sunny dream lately so we highly recommend getting out there and trying out this brand-new spot. Check out their Instagram page for more.
