There’s a slice of Lebanon in the heart of Western Sydney now courtesy of Al Aseel. The popular Lebanese restaurant chain has expanded to Parramatta serving a sublime medley of Lebanese food and hospitality, classic desserts and a bevy of beverages. Its seventh Sydney venue is a warm, neat space on the busy Victoria Road with an easy, lounge vibe.
Al Aseel, Parramatta
The decor of the restaurant is minimalistic and nifty with earthy tones and textures and ambient lighting while the atmosphere remains easy-going but vibrant. Expect pleasing green hues complimented by classy rattan decor. There’s also plenty of outdoor seating if you want to soak up the sunshine with a tipple in hand.
On the menu, patrons can find classics like Hommos, Sambousek, Arnabeet and one of Lebanon’s most famous delicacies, the kibbeh nayeh. Other standouts, specifically on the Parramatta menu, include kibbeh mishwiyeh with house-roasted spices, hommos Beiruti and crispy whiting with house-made pickled tarator. Another exclusive addition to the Parramatta branch is the ruby salad served with fresh beetroot, pomegranate, goat cheese, walnuts and mixed greens. Look out for their grilled specials and signature meaty dishes including mansaf chicken and lamb, shish barak and more. Take a look at their full menu offerings here.
Aside from the many mouthwatering menu options, Al Aseel comes with a knockout open bar and drinks list. In fact, the bar is central to the venue and the first thing you’ll notice as you walk into the breezy space. You can expect everything from delicious cocktail concoctions to wines and beers in this chic new space in Parramatta.
Al Aseel is now open for bookings and well worth a visit if you love Lebanese cuisine.
