Cheese and pasta are true comfort foods, there’s no denying it. And when the two are together, it’s like a warm carb-filled hug. Salt Meats Cheese in Drummoyne and Circular Quay is a popular Italian favourite, and they’re serving up epic Hump Day hugs every week. By that, we mean pasta served from a giant cheese wheel.
Every Wednesday night, Salt Meats Cheese offers a live demonstration of pasta being tossed in a wheel of cheesy goodness, served right to your table. You can choose between three delicious pasta flavours (Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara, and Gorgonzola) for just $25 with any drinks purchase. Did someone say a bowl of cheesy pasta and nice glass of vino to get us past the halfway mark of the week? Sounds pretty good to us! You can book a table on the venue’s website.
Alongside their mouth-watering Italian eats, Salt Meats Cheese also hosts cooking classes, so you can brush up on your culinary skills. Some of these include pizza, ravioli, cannoli, gnocchi and pasta masterclasses. Check out what classes are happening in the near future here.
