With all the vouchers that the New South Wales government has been handing out lately, it just might seem that they’ve got money to burn. But, to be fair, vouchers aren’t money going to waste and the latest round of vouchers, the Parents NSW Vouchers, are there for the taking to “reward and thank eligible NSW households for their efforts to support learning from home in 2021.”
If you don’t know, the vouchers have been around since February 2022, where “one person from each eligible household can apply for 5 x $50 vouchers, worth $250 in total.” To be eligible, you need to be an NSW resident and “the parent, guardian or carer of a child who attended school and was aged 4.5 to 18 years in 2021.”
The Parents NSW Vouchers can be used seven days a week, including public holidays, and at participating businesses offering arts, tourism and recreational activities up until Sunday 9 October. This includes Fever, the experience and ticketing platform that’s behind Candlelight and Murder Mystery.
And you’ve guessed it, these exceptional experiences are included in the Parents NSW Voucher program. But, there’s more—find them all here or keep reading for more information.

3. Murder Mystery
In the gorgeous Elizabeth Bay House, eccentric philanthropist, patron and politician Sir Sydney Macleay has been found dead. He leaves behind no children or spouse to inherit the sprawling 54-acre property and there are plenty of people seeking to profit from his death.
You and your guild have been invited to the reading of the will at the mansion but as the afternoon unfolds, it becomes clear that something is just not right.
Over the course of 90 minutes, you and your team will search Elizabeth Bay House—from the elliptical saloon and grand hall to the magnificent dining room and cellar—for clues.
Few dates remain to play Murder Mystery at Elizabeth Bay House.
4. Live at Yours
Live at Yours’ concerts are more than just musicians on stage playing their instruments—they’re a chance to experience music like it used to be played in the salons of old where friends got together and had a fabulous time.
Take a look at the upcoming performances scheduled at The Great Synagogue and the Independent Theatre for intimate and unique performances throughout the rest of 2022.
