When it comes to Christmas lights, Sydney suburbs know how to put on a show. From over-the-top displays to giant inflatables, snow machines, and thousands of twinkling lights, no expense is spared in these beautifully lit-up suburbs. One that stood out to us lies in the Northern Beaches and it’s easily one of the most brilliant streets for Christmas lights in Sydney. The residents of Borgnis Street in Davidson go all out for the festive season and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a sparklier street in town.
Christmas at Borgnis St Davidson
The houses on this glimmering street feature everything from interactive displays, nativity scenes, inflatables, decked-out roofs, bubble and snow machines and more. Lasers, projections, ornaments, Christmas statues and more are also on the menu and nearly every house on the street is stacked with lights.
Thousands around Sydney flock to this spot to see the displays and the community comes together to spread a little cheer every year. And it’s not just for entertainment, the residents collect donations for Bear Cottage, a children’s hospice in Manly.
You can see the lights this year until December 25 from 6.30pm to 10.30pm every night. Head here for more info and follow their Facebook page for updates.
