
It’s officially time to feast on all the twinkling lights around the city. Aside from the light displays in Sydney, local neighbourhoods are also getting in on the action and putting up a show this year for yuletide lovers. Jump in the car and marvel at all the bright lights flashing and twinkling in the night and forget your worries for a little while. Here’s our list of some of the best neighbourhood light displays around Sydney.
1. Mallee Street, Quakers Hill
This iconic light display has charmed Sydneysiders for over 20 years. The immersive display features everything from a decorated roof, a walk-in display, a snow machine, Christmas statues and a lot more. This will be the last year the display will be set up after 30 years so don’t miss out. Head here for more.

2. Alice Street, Rooty Hill

The Le Roux Christmas light display in Rooty Hill is so popular that it has an entire Facebook Page dedicated to it. Aside from lights, inflatables and all the Christmas trimmings, the display also raises money for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Light Up Christmas Appeal.

3. Kiber Drive, Glenmore Park

Make all your Disney dreams come true at this fabulous light display in Glenmore Park. Decked out in fairy lights, projections, inflatables and candy canes, the display also features Disney characters and Christmas statues. The display raises money for Shine for Autism. Check it out here.

4. Waratah Street, North Bondi

7. South Street, Tempe
From the windows to the walls, this Christmas light display truly has it all. Enjoy projections, twinkling lights, fake snow, music and lasers along with festive statues and a nativity scene. They’ve also got Christmas statues and licensed characters making an appearance. The display also supports Maggie’s Rescue, a small animal welfare charity in Sydney. Check it out here.

8. Chatsworth Road, Saint Clair

This stunning display, filled with thousands of bright, twinkling lights, is made for Instagram. It features all the festive trimmings, including inflatables, lasers, projections, Christmas statues and more. The display is so huge and grand that it takes over a month month to set up. 10. Magic Grove, Mosman
Head down to Mosman if you want to catch a glimpse of (possibly) the biggest inflatable Santa around. Alongside the giant Santa, you’ll find a decorated rooftop, bubble, smoke, and snow machine plus lasers and projections. This house is also supporting the Children’s Hospitals Foundation, so you can make a donation before or after your visit and help spread the holiday cheer. 11. Murrumba Place, Castle Hill

12. South Circuit, Oran Park
