There’s just something about a delicious snack on a summer night that’s worth staying up past your bedtime for. While it looks like we’re in for a soggy summer (thanks, La Niña), there are still plenty of impressive night markets around Sydney we can look forward to in the coming months. The Wentworth Park Night Market launches this Saturday, November 27 and promises to be a superb experience for foodies.
Wentworth Park Night Market
Located on the grounds of the Wentworth Park Greyhounds complex, the markets will be on from 4pm until 9pm. Showcasing a diverse variety of delectable cuisines from around the world, the markets will feature local food stall owners.
You can expect authentic Vietnamese street food, delicious Spanish Paella, mouth watering Mexican eats and a lot more. Also on site will be heaps of dessert options, right from mint chocolate brownies with chunks of mint slice and mint aero from Bigg Brownies to delicious vegan fried Greek donut balls courtesy of Mr Puff Loukoumades.
Mrs Wang’s Dumplings, Miss Piggy Vietnamese Foods, Thicc Cookies, Arancina 13th Sicilian treats and Ola Lola Spanish Paella are just some of the many local food businesses you can look forward to.
Making it an even more family-friendly event is a huge jumping castle setup exclusively for the kids, along with other fun activities like a face painting stall.
It’s the ideal way to wind down the weekend and stuff yourself silly with some seriously great food.
Check out their Facebook page for all the details.
