Twilight at Taronga is an essential summer activity in Sydney. The outdoor concert series has been an annual fixture on the music scene for over 25 years. Now back for 2026, the series has already kicked off with a huge opening weekend and continues across five back-to-back weekends at the zoo. Groove to live music and soak up the stunning views of Sydneys skyline as the action unfolds this summer.
Twilight at Taronga
Now underway for summer 2026, Sydneysiders can enjoy curated sunset concerts set against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour.
The popular alfresco event has previously seen the likes of Paul Kelly, Wolfmother, Kasey Chambers and Broods take to the stage. This year is no different, with a packed lineup of local favourites and international acts. Opening weekend delivered packed shows from indie-folk favourites The Paper Kites, a double header from Cloud Control and The Preatures, and a sold-out Lil’ Twilight performance from children’s favourite Emma Memma.
This year’s lineup spans 16 shows across the series, with several already sold out including Sons of the East (February 13), Xavier Rudd (February 20, 21 and 22), Dope Lemon (February 28) and Bjorn Again (March 7).
Tickets are still available for a range of upcoming performances including Sons of the East, Classic Hits Live, The Rubens, Vera Blue, Dope Lemon, Marlon Williams and Bliss n Eso, with some shows close to selling out. Ticket proceeds contribute to Taronga Zoo’s new Wildlife Hospital, helping protect the future of Australian wildlife.
The event will be held until March at Taronga Zoo’s amphitheater. If you enjoy live music and haven’t yet experienced Twilight at Taronga, now’s the time to add it to your list. Find more info and book your tickets here.
