Get ready to kick back and indulge because Sparkling Sydney is returning to town this weekend. The harbourside festival which celebrates wine, gourmet food and live music first made it’s big debut in 2019 and is gearing up to return to the picturesque Pyrmont waterfront.
Sparkling Sydney 2022
After being postponed in 2020 and 2021, Sparkling Sydney is back and firing.
The event shows off over 60 varied and diverse local and international wines. Right from prosecco to champagne, from moscato to sparkling rosé and everything in between — you’ll find a brilliant array of wines from around the world under one roof.
So what’s new this year? You can expect bubbly from Petersons, a Fever Tree Garden Bar, Brix Distillery spiced rum cocktails and refreshing Sparkling spritz to beat the heat. There will also be craft beer by Six String Brewing Co and fresh bubbles by Iron Gate Estate and Hungerford Hill.
Down your sparkling drinks along with fresh oysters or soak in the sun while enjoying live music. Food offerings also include delicious gnocchi by The Gnocchi Way and Lucio Pizzeria’s outstanding Neapolitan pizzas.
The stellar line-up of live music includes contemporary jazz fused with indie pop. Groove to the tunes of DJ’s Kate Monroe and Charlie Villas who will bring an eclectic mix of disco, RnB, soul and house to the table at an exclusive DJ Garden Lounge.
Let your hair down to contemporary Jazz fused with indie pop with artists like Crawfish Po’Boys, Electro Alley and Spyglass.
The day-long event takes place at Pirrama Park against the gorgeous backdrop of the Sydney Harbour. General entry ticket priced at $39 will get you a festival branded PET vino glass along with access to the live music stage and DJ garden lounge to soak up the sun in all day long.
