Rosé Room pop-up, Clock Hotel
Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or fairly new to the game, the wines on offer are sure to excite your tastebuds. On offer is the Rosé d’Anjou “Les Ligériens”, with a dreamy sunset blush, and a fruity nose. It comes with subtle hints of red currant, fresh grapes and strawberries and will be paired with a blue cheese platter served with cornichons, flatbread and toasted sourdough.
Also featured are Rosé de Loire wines which smell of red berries and white pepper and taste of peach, apricot and passionfruit. Expect the Rosé de Loire “Thibaud Boudignon” and Rosé de Loire “Réserve des Vignerons” which is a slightly sparkling wine. Chef McEnallay’s pairing for these will be a saucisson and salumi platter along with flatbread and toasted sourdough.
Rounding it off is the Crémant de Loire Brut Rosé “De Chanceny” — a sparkling rosé wine with cherry and wild strawberry aromas. This wine will be served with a petit four of chocolate and orange salted caramels. We’ll take one of each please.
If wine gets you feeling a bit peckish, you can also choose from the Clock Hotel’s menu which will be served at the Rosé Room pop-up with a charming French twist. Naturally, the event is adults only and entry is free so don’t miss out.
