When Rodgers And Hammerstein’s Cinderella first aired on TV in 1957, it was viewing by a staggering 100 million people. It was subsequently remade for television twice, first in 1965 for Lesley Ann Warren and again in 1997, starring Brandy and Whitney Houston. The musical has since been adapted for stage first premiering in New York in 2013.

“Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella is a spectacular modern adaptation of a much-loved favourite and will appeal to many audiences, from young fans to seasoned theatre-goers, who will enjoy the magic of much loved classic with a contemporary twist,” he added.
