Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella
This stage adaptation has opened to unanimous praise during its Australia run. Featuring excellent music, an incredible orchestra and mesmerising set and costume design the musical will transport you straight back to your childhood.
Leading the cast will be Shubshri Kandiah (Aladdin, Fangirls) as Cinderella, Ainsley Melham (Merrily We Roll Along, Aladdin) as Prince Topher and Silvie Paladino (Mamma Mia!, Les Misérables) as Marie, the Fairy Godmother.
When Rodgers And Hammerstein’s Cinderella first aired on TV in 1957, it was viewing by a staggering 100 million people. It was subsequently remade for television twice, first in 1965 for Lesley Ann Warren and again in 1997, starring Brandy and Whitney Houston. The musical has since been adapted for stage first premiering in New York in 2013.
