Soak in the festive atmosphere, enjoy live entertainment, and browse through charming stalls on select days in November and December. Here’s everything you need to know about the lively markets.
Martin Place Christmas Markets
The markets have previously featured over 40 stalls across food, fashion, gifts, festive decor, toys, accessories, Christmassy treats, and more. Stallholders are yet to be announced, but visitors can expect a bigger lineup this year, along with live music and delicious festive eats, all under an illuminated canopy that’s perfect for Instagram. Food will be a highlight this year with the markets offering everything from international street food to classic Christmas treats.
The markets are set to run on the following days:
Martin Place, Sydney CBD
Thursday 27 – Sunday 30 November, 11 am – 9:30 pm
Thursday 4 – Saturday 6 December, 11 am – 9:30 pm
Thursday 11 – Saturday 13 December, 11 am – 9:30 pm
Thursday 18 – Saturday 20 December, 11 am – 9:30 pm
Even better, the markets will run all day from 11am to late into the night. If you need another incentive to head down, the beloved Martin Place Christmas Tree will be lit up from November 27 to January 4, 2026, to get you in the Christmas spirit.
