British chef Marco Pierre White is returning to Australia this May for an exclusive series of live-on-stage shows. Dubbed Marco Pierre White – Out of the kitchen, the tour kicks off at the Great Hall in Brisbane before heading to Sydney and wrapping up in Melbourne. One of the world’s most renowned chefs, White will share his story of resilience and determination with the audience right from his humble beginnings to his steady rise to fame.
Marco Pierre White – Out of the kitchen tour
White arrived in London from the north of England with “£7.36, a box of books and a bag of cloths” to begin his classical training as a commis with Albert and Michael Roux at the acclaimed Le Gavroche. By the age of 33, he had become the first British as well as the youngest chef at the time to be awarded three Michelin Stars. He has been referred to as “the first celebrity chef” of the UK restaurant scene and has worked with a number of industry stalwarts including Mario Batali, Heston Blumenthal, Shannon Bennett and Gordon Ramsay.
