Haus of Horror is bringing the goods for horror lovers this summer. Since its debut in 2022, the immersive outdoor cinema has hosted screenings of classics like The Exorcist in the haunted Parramatta Gaol and Beetlejuice in Camperdown Cemetery. Now it’s back for an equally creepy second season and kicking things off with a screening of Gremlins this January.
Gremlins, Haus of Horror
The movie night will be held at the familiar location of Camperdown Cemetery in Newtown on Saturday, January 6. The doors will swing open at 6pm and guests will have access to explore the historic grounds. A live DJ will also be on site serving haunting melodies along with food and drink vendors. You can also take a photo in an immersive Gremlins-themed photo booth. Watch out for things that go bump in the night, we’re told there might be visitors joining you during the screening.
Gremlins is a 1984 horror comedy about a gang of gremlins who wreak havoc on a town on Christmas Eve.
The screening will begin at 8pm and guests are welcome to bring their own blankets, pillows and low lawn chairs. Grab your tickets here.
