Japanese bar Goros is going vivid pink in celebration of Japan’s Sakura season with the return of their ‘Cherry Bomb‘ pop-up. And they’re going all out with floral-filled interiors, funky neon lights, cocktails and pink mochi desserts. If you haven’t experienced Goros’ karaoke rooms, yakitori, arcade games and overall killer vibe, now is the time to visit. Cosy up under their cherry blossom-themed installations and decorations and grab a pink treat to go with the aesthetic. If you’re on the hunt for pink places in Sydney, this one is a no-brainer.
Cherry Bomb, Goros
The six-week immersive experience is a collaboration between Goros and Bombay Sapphire. Expect a delightful cherry blossom-inspired menu, a pink cocktail list and seriously pretty vibes.
Highlights include kingfish crudo and cherry leaf-wrapped daifuku mochi, pink Bombay Presse cocktails with cherry blossom, pearls, watermelon and saké and pink mochi desserts. Once you’re done posing for photos with their fun props and neon decor, head to the rosy-hued dance floor for an after-hours boogie.
It gets better. From 5-7pm every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, you can get your hands on $1 dumplings and $7 house beers, wines and spirits. Goros is famous for its free karaoke and taking it up a notch is Goros’ resident queen Milan Swaay who will host a karaoke competition on April 19 and May 3 and 17. There’s cash prizes up for grabs so don’t miss out.
