To complement their huge shark exhibition that is currently entertaining Sydneysiders, the Australian Museum has announced yet another event with sharks at the center. As part of Sydney Festival’s mega 2023 program, the AM is bringing an interactive experience to town courtesy of Erth dubbed Erth’s Shark Dive. If you’ve ever wanted to dive with sharks, now is your (water-free) chance to do so.
Erth’s Shark Dive, Australian Museum
This interactive experience allows you to plunge deep into the abyss and come face-to-face with these fascinating ancient predators.
If the name Erth rings a bell, it’s because the innovative team has brought a number of exciting and innovative projects to town including Erth’s Prehistoric Picnic which saw them take on giant dinosaurs at the Royal Botanic Garden. Now trading land with sea, their theatrical show will feature a larger-than-life puppet performance complete with a thrilling soundscape that will act as the soundtrack to the show.
Stand in awe of the majestic beauty of a 4-metre great white shark in this immersive underwater theatrical experience.
The Sydney Festival is also bringing a number of exciting experiences to the city including an opera on a faux beach in Town Hall, a massive Frida Kahlo exhibition and a series of exhibitions.
