Night outs in Sydney are about to get a little bit brighter, with a spectacular after-dark experience returning to Western Sydney for its second year. Echoes will take over the historic grounds of Bella Vista Farm once again this September, transforming the sprawling property with an entirely reimagined light and sound show, made for all ages. This year’s edition, dubbed Moon Garden, will take visitors on an immersive nocturnal journey inspired by nature and the night sky, blending cutting-edge visual effects with interactive installations and storytelling. The experience will run for several weeks, including throughout the spring school holidays, making it an easy family-friendly night out as the weather warms up. Step inside the Moon Garden this spring
Among the glittering highlights of the event is a giant illuminated moon, surrounded by glowing flower gardens, celestial pathways and landscapes filled with nocturnal creatures including owls, moths and moonflowers. Visitors will move through a series of installations using lasers, projections and holograms, with some interactive elements responding to guests as they make their way through the grounds.
The visual displays will be paired with immersive sound and storytelling, while shimmering stars and other large-scale installations will create plenty of opportunities for photos along the trail. The entire experience has been created specifically for Bella Vista Farm by Laservision, the team behind other successful light shows such as Nocturnal at Scenic World.
Food will also be available on-site, with a lineup of food trucks planned for the season. Toby’s Milkbar will serve burgers and loaded fries, while Gelato Messina is creating a limited-edition mystery flavour inspired by the Orange Blossom Festival, which Echoes forms part of this year.

Getting there
Bella Vista Farm is located on Elizabeth Macarthur Drive in Bella Vista, around a 35-minute drive northwest of the Sydney CBD. Parking is available within the outer grounds of the farm, just inside the main entrance.
