Darling Harbour is set to host a variety of fun and immersive events in July for its annual Winterfest. Ice skating, rousing fireworks, cosy gaming zones and holiday movies await in the heart of the bustling precinct along with a special 4-day program just for especially for families. One of Sydney’s best winter festivals, the annual event features something for everyone and all ages. The go-to festive hangout will be held from July 6 to July 21 this year.
Darling Harbour Winterfest
Step into a glittering wonderland and bask in winter joy at the Darling Harbour ice rink which will be open every day throughout the festival. Glide across the rink under twinkling lights and indulge in winter-warming food and drink. The ice rink is open to paying customers only and you can get your tickets here.
This year, the fest is hosting a 4-day event to coincide with the winter school holidays called Winter Park from July 18 to 21 where kids can have fun with gaming zones, slime workshops and an outdoor cinema which will screen winter movies especially for kids. Find the full program here.
Guests can also look forward to live music and fireworks over Cockle Bay. The fireworks will take place at 8.30pm from July 18 to 21 and you can get a front-row seat to the dazzling display.
