Spring Seasonal Market, Carriageworks
Whether you’re looking to stock your pantry with seasonal fruit and veg or learn a new recipe, this market promises to have something for all kinds of shoppers. Fill your bags with produce such as zucchini flowers, asparagus, peas, broad beans, blood oranges and garlic, take home a variety of cheeses, and of course, shop for colourful flowers.
Live talks, cooking demonstrations, and informative workshops are also part of the eclectic program. One to watch out for is a guided beehive experience where visitors can suit up and step into the apiary to see inside a real beehive, the experience will set you back by $75. There are also kids’ workshops and a live cooking demonstration by Baba’s Place chef Jean-Paul El Tom.
Entry to the market is free and it returns on Saturday, September 14 from 8am – 1pm. Get more information about stallholders and events at the Carriageworks website.
