Clear your calendars for July 8 because Carriageworks is bringing back its Winter Seasonal Market for one day only. Tempting Sydneysiders with excellent seasonal produce alongside live talks, cooking demonstrations and workshops, the market is back in full force for its 2023 iteration. The popular social event will celebrate the best of local produce with a jam-packed program lined up.
Carriageworks Winter Seasonal Market
After delighting locals with their Night Market this June, the contemporary multi-arts organisation is turning its sight towards another equally exciting winter event.
The highlights for this year’s free public program include seasonal truffles all the way from the Blue Mountains by Hartley Truffles, Goldstreet Dairy, an artisan cheese producer from Camden Valley Farm, Jersey Cheese by chef Colin Wood, organic fruit and veg by Fanelli Organics and much more. Visitors can also expect a live cooking demonstration with World Porridge Championships finalist Toby Wilson and live panel discussions.
Entry to the market is free and it will run from 8am to 1pm on Saturday, July 8.
Aside from the market, avid marketgoers can also look forward to a two-month pop-up later in July where Byron Bay’s Three Blue Ducks will join the Carriageworks Farmers Market for excellent ready-to-eat dishes and a range of take-home products.
