The Australian premiere for the mega West End hit is currently playing in Sydney and everyone’s invited to be their guest. The creative team behind the original has returned for this reimagined production. Matt West is at the helm directing and choreographing. Meanwhile, composer Alan Menken, lyricist Tim Rice and costume designer Ann Hould-Ward have joined forces for a spectacular show. The all-Australian cast includes Shubshri Kandiah as Belle, Brendan Xavier as Beast and Rohan Browne in the role of Lumiere. Get ready to sing along to fan favourite tunes like ‘Be Our Guest’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
Beauty and the Beast has arguably been Disney’s most successful musical playing in thirteen countries and 115 cities since its premiere on Broadway in 1994. Expect stunning new sets, costume designs, and state-of-the-art technology breathing fresh life into the classic tale.
