After dishing out a magical wizardry high tea this winter, Shangri-La is back with another themed high tea offering. In celebration of the new Wonka movie starring Timothée Chalamet, the team has created a high tea experience with sweet and savoury delights that will include all things fun and colourful like sourlicious buttercream swirls and bubbly brownie surprises.

High tea is the best way to treat yourself and feel a little fancy. This experience will take place in the Grand Ballroom where you can spend the day reliving your childhood fantasies. Those with a sweet tooth will be spoiled with menu offerings that include brownies, cupcakes, candy and more. Savoury treats include beef Wellington pockets, roast beef and horseradish sandwiches, classic rendered bacon butty and egg sandwiches.
To make it extra fun, there’s also a decorate your own chocolate bar station, and even a delightful chocolate fountain. Several photogenic elements will make the space extra fun for your Instagram including a red phone booth, colourful balloons and a floral tree.
The high tea will take place on December 9 and 10 and again from December 15 to 17 with two seating times — 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm. Older kids can enjoy a special tailored tea for adults in the evening on December 9 and 15 from 5pm to 7pm. Grab your tickets here.
