This winter looks primed to be an unforgettable time for Sydneysiders.
Winter events are being announced around the city and we’re completely spoilt for choice. With Vivid Sydney set to be back in all its glory, and events like Sydney Solstice and Bondi Festival around the corner, there’s so much to look forward to. And now The Winter Village, a much-loved pop-up event in Melbourne that takes place every year is gearing up to make an entry into the Sydney art and culture scene.
From June 19 to September 12, you can expect heaps of fun events including an ice rink, igloo dining — complete with plush cushions and fairy lights for a perfect night out and several food and drink pop ups to make sure you have your hands and tummy full of hot, comforting goodies.
This alpine-inspired event will also feature daily snow showers and several brunch and skate packages throughout the duration of the event. Go the extra mile for your special someone and pre-book private igloos and cabins at the venue that make for a dreamy romantic escape.
The premium igloo package includes delicious treats like a mini lobster roll with dill and pickles, a mouth-watering dessert platter with espresso martini choc fudge sauce, berries, brownies, marshmallows, cookies and the choice of a bloody shiraz gin spritz, espresso martini, wine or beer.
This magical wonderland is the perfect winter activity for the whole family. You won’t see us thinking twice.
Entry will be free, but some events are set to be ticketed. Find more details about the various packages and prices here.
