The popular event will be held from July 5-21 with both family-friendly shows and adults-only options on the cards. Experience 360-degree views of Bondi Beach as you eat, play, drink and support local artists and venues while you’re at it.
Kicking off the opening weekend in Bondi Pavilion’s Garu (northern) courtyard will be the world premiere of Proud, Proud Woman: A Ruby Hunter Tribute, a special event celebrating the legacy of Ngarrindjeri, Kukatha and Pitjantjatjara singer-songwriter Ruby Hunter. The program also includes comedy, cabaret and several interactive experiences.
The following days will see a diverse variety of events including comedy shows, communal dance experiences, live music and food and drink. This year the edition also includes a street party which will see Gould Street closed off and transformed for the day with street food, workshops, photo booths and markets.
Like every year, you can soar above the sky and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the beach on the popular Ferris wheel. Don’t forget to hit the ice skating rink for some wintertime fun and sweeping views of the beach.
Every year, the Bondi Festival transforms Bondi into a fun-filled playground with adventures for everyone. Check out the full program here.
