A whole lot of entertainment awaits you at the Bondi Festival.
The art and culture scene in Sydney is certainly looking up. After news that Vivid Sydney will now be taking place in August instead of its usual May-June spot, a bunch of exciting new events have been popping up to take the coveted spot that is usually reserved for Vivid. Sydney Solstice, a winter festival is gearing up to take over four big precincts around the city.
In latest news, the Bondi Festival described as a ‘cutting-edge’ arts festival, will be held from June 25- July 11. Waverley Council’s flagship winter event, the Bondi Festival is an ideal event for families.
Winter is always an exciting time in Bondi with heaps of local events, live gigs and eateries bursting onto the scene. Bondi Festival is a thrilling combination of two previous events — Bondi Feast and Bondi Winter Magic Festival. Although it was cancelled last year it is gearing up to make a big entry back into the art and culture scene. Things we can look forward to include a Ferris wheel, a skating rink and live entertainment every evening among others. The Ferris Wheel, Bondi Vista, will set you flying above the ground at 22 meters to panoramic views of the beach and everything around.
The iconic beach with its candy-floss skies on one side and glittering city views on the other, you really can’t lose. The festival is primed to transform Bondi into a magical adventure playground making it an ideal event for everyone.
