W Hotel is finally swinging open its doors on Thursday, October 12 after nearly four years of construction. It’s easily one of Sydney’s most anticipated hotel openings of the year and the hot new place to be if you’re looking for luxury and plush comforts in the city. This will be the third W Hotel in Australia and the biggest globally. Check out everything that’s on offer at the opulent new spot.
W Hotel, Sydney
The latest addition to Sydney’s booming hotel scene cost an eye-watering one billion dollars to build and promises to be the go-to spot for your next indulgent staycay.
Amongst its many lavish features is a heated infinity pool treating guests to sweeping harbourside views and Sydney’s waterfront icons from the 29th floor and a stylish wet deck. It also comes with 585 rooms and suites, a two-storey rooftop bar and many recreational facilities like a spa, gym, event spaces and more. Additionally, it is set to be a foodie destination with the in-house restaurant Btwn, playing on the building being nestled between the city’s expressways and views over Darling Harbour and a late-night dessert bar by Janice Wong.
The design takes inspiration from Australia’s “larrikin spirit” and can be seen sprinkled throughout the hotel’s interiors with pops of vibrant colours and neon lights. Keen to book a room? A night at W Hotel can cost you up to $2,909 per night for a one or two-bedroom suite, but there are also rooms available for around $587.
W Hotel is now open in Sydney. Head here to make a booking.
