Get ready for a day of all-you-can-grab shopping when a brand-new market concept comes to town. A first-of-its-kind Vintage Kilo Sale will take place in Marrickville on August 26 and 27 with over 6000 pieces up for grabs. In case the name wasn’t a giveaway, people donate their old and unused clothes at a kilo sale which are then sold by weight and not individually priced items. Preloved clothing sold by the kilo is a popular concept in Europe and also an excellent tool to combat waste generation produced by clothes.
