Whether you’re looking for vintage accessories, hyper local fashion or gourmet food and wine, you’d be closer to finding it in one of Sydney’s stellar markets than a shopping centre or boutique. Adding to the long list is a new monthly market that sets up shop by the beach in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The Maroubra Beach Markets are set to become your one-stop shop for high-quality goods and will take place on the first Sunday of every month.
Maroubra Beach Markets
The markets have launched just a stone’s throw from the beach in partnership with Cambridge Markets and Randwick City Council. Shoppers can expect a diverse variety of stalls including fresh produce, hot food, jewellery, artisan goods, accessories, pet food, vintage clothing and second-hand vinyl records.
Keep your eye out for local brands such as Farmer and Son who will bring the freshest fruit and veg to the markets, Bezo Bees for delicious locally produced honey, pre-packed smoked goods from Bondi Smoke House, handmade jewellery and home decor items from Maroubra Design and dog accessories from Charlie and Molly among others. Gamal Falafel Bar will be on site serving delicious Middle Eastern bites alongside gourmet food from Agape Organic Food Truck.
Cambridge Markets is responsible for such popular markets as Eat Drink Nights at Wentworth Point and the Ultimate Easter Market at Entertainment Quarter. The Maroubra Beach Markets are held at Broadarrow Reserve by the beach from 8am to 2pm on the first Sunday of the month. Head to the Cambridge Markets website for further details.
