If you were wondering how your regular brunch could be improved, The Winery may have found a way. After transforming into a glamping hideout last winter, the Surry Hills bar is getting in on the Sydney WorldPride action by doing a special puppy brunch with a pride twist. On the menu is a 3-course share style menu, 2 hours of bottomless rainbow bellinis, free entry for your furry friend and a side of sass courtesy of queens from Sydney Drag Royalty.
Big gay puppy brunch and pooch parade at The Winery
If you like to rate your brunch based on its Instagram worth, you won’t be disappointed at The Winery. Aside from the colourful drinks, their floral rainbow archway, pride flags and glittery rainbow walls will have you pulling out your phones for a quick shot more than just once. There’s also a lush spread of assortment and treats for your fur babies including a ‘not-spresso dogtini’ and a rainbow ‘bark-uterie board.’
Once you’re done with your fill of rainbow bellinis, head outside for the adorable pooch parade which kicks off at 1.30pm. Winning pooches will get to take home a Mardi Gras-themed ‘Curious’ box from Pet Circle. Sounds like a vibe, and it is.
The Winery will also be donating $1 from every cocktail sold to Minus18 – Australia’s leading charity supporting LGBTQIA+ youth. Say goodbye to WorldPride in style and snag a table here.
Enjoy 2 hours of bottomless rainbow bellinis from 11.30 am to 1.30pm and if you’re keen to attend the pooch parade only, it’ll set you back by just $10 per person.
