The team behind Igloos on the Pier has brought a new winter offering to town and it sounds just as magical. Bringing a pop of colour to these grey and gloomy days is Pier One’s Glass Room suite perfectly propped up on the harbour for outdoor dining. The photogenic spot comes to town in collaboration with Alyce Tran, co-founder of vibrant dinnerware brand In The Roundhouse. Oysters, cocktails and sunsets are on the menu with sweeping views of the harbour and the city skyline. There’s also a private hot tub to make it extra luxe. The Glass Room suite will be open for booking this June.
The Glass Room by Pier One
Sit back and unplug inside this glasshouse surrounded by some seriously cosy vibes and picture-perfect elements. There’s plush red seats, a neon-lit mirror, comfy chairs and fairy lights. Guests will also have food and drink brought directly to them throughout the evening with wait staff on hand.
Menu offerings include Sydney rock oysters, crisps and dips, grazing boards with artisan cured meats and cheeses, breaded brie with kumquat chutney and lemon pepper calamari with black garlic dip. Drink options include signature cocktails like the pineapple daiquiri and limoncello spritz, and sharing options of cosmopolitans, mojitos and Aperol spritz along with wine, beer and soft drinks.
