The ever popular Garden Social event is returning to The Royal Botanic Garden this month with a huge celebration of First Nations artists and cultures. Warm up with delicious food and enjoy soulful music courtesy of First Nations musicians as you take in spectacular harbour views and soak up the winter sun. Attendees can also participate in Indigenous crafts, progressive artworks and traditional demonstrations facilitated by Yibaay Wagaan Wiradjuri artists.
The Garden Social
In attendance will be some of Australia’s finest Indigenous musicians, including ARIA nominated singer, Christine Anu. Up-and-coming singer Breanna and renowned performer Pirritu will also be performing. With the winter sun finally shining down on us and free entry to the event, it’s the ideal way to unplug and reset.
Some of Sydney’s best and most in demand food trucks will also be in the area so you can kick back with your mates after work, grab a bite to eat and enjoy a drink. On site you’ll find cheesy pizzas from Pizzaology, healthy snacks from Agape Organic, OTT chicken from The Chicken Theatre and refreshments from GelatoMania to wash it all down.
Day or night, the alfresco event offers spectacular views of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge making it a classic experience for Sydneysiders. True to it’s trademark style, you can expect an open-air bar for unlimited drinks all day long. The reimagined event is on for 3 days only — don’t miss it.
