The Domain Is Hosting A New Outdoor Garden Bar With Food Trucks And Live Music

G&Ts on The Domain lawns sound lush.

For twenty days this summer, the Royal Botanic Gardens is setting up an outdoor summer bar in The Domain’s Tarpeian Precinct—The Garden Social. (Featured image: @danielpelaezduque)

That bar, though, will be joined by Fever Tree’s Ultimate Gin & Tonic pop-up bar where we hope we will be able to create our own G&T. Some of Sydney’s best and most in demand food trucks will also be in the area so you can kick back with your mates after work, grab a bite to eat and have a drink under some trees.

Sydney’s newest outdoor drinking space has clear views of the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge too for those who need stunning views to match their lush surrounds. Lawn chairs and bean bags will make your stay comfy as.

Although we don’t know which food trucks will be turning up when,—adds an element of surprise and wonder if you ask us—we do know that  Urban Pasta, Agape, Rolling Schnitzel, Burgers G-Dup, JR Korean Chicken, Birdman are on the cards. And in terms of dessert, gelatos and churros will be available so you can get your sweet fix.

Music will be performed by the talented musicians of the Conservatorium of Music.

The Garden Social opened on Wednesday 13 January and will stay open until Sunday 7 February, closing only on Mondays and Tuesdays.

During the week, the Garden Social will be open from 5pm till 9pm whereas on Saturdays you can spend the day from 11am right up until 9pm. Sundays are from 11am to 3pm.
