Tame Impala is back on the road in Australia, bringing the Deadbeat era to stages around the country with a setlist that balances new material and some of Kevin Parker’s most beloved songs.
For fans catching Tame Impala on the Australian tour before it wraps up on 24th October, the setlist strikes a balance between the new Deadbeat era and the psychedelic anthems that made Kevin Parker a global name, with favourites from Currents, Lonerism and The Slow Rush rounding out the mix.
Sydney fans will have three chances to catch Tame Impala live, with performances scheduled for 19th, 20th and 21st October 2026 at Afterpay Arena.
The set moves from ‘Apocalypse Dreams’ and ‘Elephant’ through to ‘Let It Happen’ and ‘The Less I Know the Better’, with a short B-stage section adding another change of pace. Newer tracks also feature prominently, making this a tour that looks beyond nostalgia while drawing on the catalogue that made Tame Impala a global name.

Tame Impala brings the Deadbeat tour home

Finally, after taking the Deadbeat tour overseas, Kevin Parker is bringing the show back to Australia for an arena run spanning Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. Electronic artist Ninajirachi joins him as the special guest across the Australian dates, adding another local name to one of the year’s major homegrown music tours.
The tour also sees Kevin Parker taking a more open approach to Tame Impala’s live shows, giving his touring band more room to make the songs their own.
“Now we appreciate the live versions as their own thing,” he said, reflecting a shift away from simply recreating the studio recordings and towards letting the music evolve on stage.
