Whispers now official: Tame Impala is coming home for the Deabeat Tour. Kevin Parker’s cosmic psych-rock odyssey will sweep across Australia this October. Kevin Parker, fresh off his first solo Grammy win, has locked in an October tour across Australia—his first full national run since The Slow Rush era.
Fresh from picking up his first solo Grammy earlier this year for “End of Summer”, Parker will bring his acclaimed new album Deadbeat to life on stages across Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. The run cements his long-awaited homecoming after a blockbuster North American and European tour in 2025.
“End of Summer” might have earned him the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording earlier this year, but it’s the album’s heavier, fuzz-laden cuts like “Dracula” and “Loser” that fans are eager to hear live. While Deadbeat drew mixed reviews upon release, it was a commercial juggernaut—peaking at No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart and topping both the Billboard Top Dance and Top Rock & Alternative Albums charts.
Joining Tame Impala across all Australian dates is Newcastle-born producer and ARIA-winner Ninajirachi, who’s built a reputation for her genre-defying electronic sets. Together, the two promise an electric night of sonic experimentation built for huge arenas and vivid light shows.

More On Tame Impala
Since bursting onto the scene in the late 2000s, Tame Impala have transformed cosmic psych-rock into a global phenomenon, with Parker collaborating alongside the likes of Dua Lipa, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga and Gorillaz. From InnerSpeaker and Currents to the expansive The Slow Rush, his influence has shaped an entire generation of electronic and alternative music both in Australia and abroad.
Now, after five albums and countless world tours, Parker’s upcoming home return feels like both a victory lap and a new beginning—a chance for fans across the country to experience one of Australia’s most visionary artists doing what he does best.
Finally, after conquering North America and Europe in 2025 with a newly expanded six-piece band, Parker’s homecoming tour feels like a celebration of his enduring influence and of the music scene that first shaped him. Adelaide fans might once again be left looking longingly east and west, but for everyone else, October can’t come soon enough.
