Luna Park’s newest attraction, Sonic Neon, is an immersive family-friendly rave room located inside the Crystal Palace. This experience uses innovative technology to convert sound into interactive light displays. The unique experience piqued our curiosity and we knew we had to give it a visit and see what it was all about. Read on for our Sonic Neon review.

Our Experience
Sonic Neon is divided into eight themed rooms, each focused on a different musical aspect. The rooms were done really well and we were amazed at how well all the lights synchronised to the soundtrack. We would definitely suggest that you stay in each room for a while until a new song plays, so you can experience the different light patterns. One of our favourite rooms was the pink infinity room, it was so beautiful and made for some super Instagrammable pics. Other highlights included the Drum Den where over a hundred light up pads created a corridor of colour that we could walk through. We also enjoyed the Rumble Room where thousands of video pixels created an immersive video tunnel.
To end off our visit we went upstairs and had some neon-lit gelato, which was a first for us! There was also some cool artwork to browse which we thought was a nice touch. We feel that this experience would be a great activity to do as a family, and kids would particularly love the lights and colours.
Visitor Reviews
All in all, we would definitely recommend this new experience in Luna Park for visitors of all ages. But, if you still have doubts about buying tickets, perhaps these rave reviews from previous visitors will change your mind.
Kids loved it, especially the glow fairy floss and soft serve.
