In need of some self-care? Step into the brand new Soak Bathhouse Alexandria for a full day of pampering that’ll have you recharged and ready to go. You won’t just be treated to massages here; mineral-rich waters, hot spas, cold plunge pools, and saunas are on offer, just in time for winter. Spanning 700 square metres, the Alexandria outpost is one of Soak Bathhouse’s biggest openings yet, and despite the snazzy interiors, it’s surprisingly budget-friendly, with experiences starting at just $39. Here’s everything we know about the new wellness space.
Soak Bathhouse Alexandria is now open
Highlighting holistic wellness, the communal bathhouse is conveniently located in the new $230 million Bourke & Bowden development, just 4 km from Sydney’s CBD, offering an accessible respite in the heart of the city. Ward away your stress with a range of services that include magnesium-rich mineral pools heated to 34°C, hot spas at 38°C, a bracing 12.5°C cold plunge, plus a dry cedarwood sauna and steam room. If you don’t mind indulging, you can level up your session with a massage, infrared sauna, or LED red light therapy, added to your Soak session. The plant-filled indoor oasis comes with sleek stone-lined pools, soft lighting, and a tranquil, open layout.
Whether you’re after the ultimate zen experience or don’t mind splurging, experiences at Soak Bathhouse Alexandria start at just $39 — with early bird sessions running from Friday to Sunday from 6.30am to 9.30am. For something more indulgent, an $89 package includes holistic extras like tipples, robe hire, padlocks, and snacks to go with your soak.
Like its other locations, Soak Alexandria embraces a communal setup that encourages guests to slow down, unwind, and connect with others in a shared space.
