Looking to see snow this winter? For most Sydneysiders, that usually means a long drive to the Snowy Mountains. This year, however, a much closer option is arriving in the city’s south-west. Launching in Liverpool during the winter school holidays, Snowtopia is a brand new event bringing real snow to Western Sydney, giving visitors the chance to enjoy a taste of the alpine experience without leaving the city. Set to take over Woodward Park for around three weeks, the family-friendly attraction is expected to be one of the region’s biggest winter events, combining magical snow experiences with a range of activities designed for children and families, just in time for the school holidays. Snowtopia launches in Liverpool this winter
Known for its growing events calendar, community events and diverse cultural scene, Liverpool is set to welcome yet another attraction this winter. Snowtopia is set to bring a series of vibrant interactive snow experiences designed for all ages to the suburb. Visitors can navigate their way through a snow maze, race down a toboggan run, roast marshmallows around fire pits and dive into dedicated snow play areas, while younger children can get hands-on with snowball activities and immersive winter games.
Other highlights include snow-covered spaces, themed installations and family-friendly entertainment spread throughout the precinct. Each timed session will run for 90 minutes, allowing guests plenty of time to move between attractions, explore the different activity zones and make the most of the winter wonderland.

Woodward Park is located in the heart of Liverpool, around 35 kilometres south-west of Sydney’s CBD. The park can be reached via public transport from Liverpool Station, which is around a 20-minute walk away.
