SEE LV by Louis Vuitton has been making waves around the world and it’s now landed on the shores of Sydney harbour for an Australia-first showcase. SEE LV, The Rocks
Founded in 1854, the Louis Vuitton label currently operates in 50 countries worldwide. This unique exhibition comes with a host of immersive elements, allowing visitors to learn the ins and outs of the brand over the years.
Inside See LV, you’ll find a blend of archival garments, a full-size skate ramp and the history of Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogram. Explore a fascinating collection of early twentieth-century trunks, artistic collaborations and iconic leather creations.
One part of the exhibition will feature a portrait of a young Louis Vuitton, artfully created using a million images of Jura, Vuitton’s birthplace. Walk further down and you’ll get a deeper insight into the brand’s history and influence on fashion. This section also features a striking 19th-century archival gown alongside a historical 1906 trunk. Plus find a wall lined with Louis Vuitton bags all the way from 1890 until now.
Next, you’ll find a room dedicated to the house’s journey through different eras of the transport revolution. Finally, get the picture-perfect Instagram photo against a digital screen with the signature Louis Vuitton Monogram and end your visit by browsing through the bookstore on-site.
