Discover the harbour like never before.
As part of the Sydney Solstice festivities, a unique sea kayaking experience is coming to town. Through this experience, you will cast off in your kayak just as the sun is setting, giving you a stunning and picturesque view of Sydney’s most iconic and beloved structures.
The sea kayaks depart from the Darling Harbour foreshore area and glide past the Sydney Maritime Museum, a glittering Barangaroo and James Craig — a 19th century cruise ship. You will also get to see up close and personal the heritage-listed Glebe Island Bridge along with the Anzac suspension bridge.
With an illuminated Sydney skyline acting as a consistent background and the tranquil waters of the harbour, the experience is primed to be unforgettable. This is also a relaxing mini getaway, designed to take you away from the noise and bustle of everyday life and experience Sydney in a whole new light.
Highlights of the tour also include a breather to enjoy refreshments and appetisers where you can stop for a moment and take in all the glorious sights around you before heading back on this divine paddle loop.
The tour runs for only two weeks and the tickets are priced at $155. The experience is not recommended for children under 15. It is also important to note that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the tour departs.
Attendees will be grouped into double kayaks on this incredible sea kayaking experience so start planning an evening out with your special someone now.
