In May, thrifty shoppers were thrilled when the first Savers outpost in NSW opened its doors in Sydney. Now the global thrift retailer has announced its plans for expansion in the area with the opening of a new boutique-style thrift store, another first-of-its-kind concept in Australia and it’s coming to one of Sydney’s most popular streets. Savers Thrift Boutique will open in the heart of Darlinghurst with an exciting selection of second-hand goods. Here’s what you need to know.
Savers Thrift Boutique, Sydney
Similar to Savers’ standard stores, the boutique will offer a diverse selection of high-quality second-hand items including pre-loved clothes, jewellery, books, and accessories, with thousands of new additions every week but with a trendy twist. So you can score some superb new clothes and products at an affordable price.
The Sydney Savers store may have been the brand’s very first outing in the Harbour City, but it’s been a well-established presence for over 25 years in Australia with a total of 300 stores across the US, Canada, and Australia. The Savers Thrift Boutique aims to give Sydneysiders another cost-effective way to shop without compromising on quality and fashion. It will also help in diverting over 7.5 million kilograms of textile waste from landfills each year, thanks to the efforts of its 13 existing stores across Australia.
The boutique is set to open on Oxford Street in Darlinghurst in late October at Shop 31-33, Oxford Square. Head to their website to learn more and check out what’s on offer at their Hoxton Park store here.
