A boozy, weekend brunch is the perfect antidote to a long week. Thankfully, Sydney is no stranger to boozy bottomless brunches. But we’re always on the lookout for more. Adding to the list is Pumphouse Sydney, which needs no introduction but we love to harp on about it anyway.
This recently transformed bar and restaurant is shrouded in greenery with cascading plants, rustic furnishing and an overall serene atmosphere that makes for the perfect weekend dining spot. You can now soak up the sun on their upper terrace and enjoy their brilliant Sunday brunch. On throughout the year every Sunday from 11am-2pm, enjoy a seasonal a la carte menu with two hours of free flowing drinks.
Drink options include wines from Victoria’s King Valley region, including a vegan friendly La La Land Pinot Noir Rosé and Hunter Valley’s First Creek “Botanica” Cuvee Sparkling. There’s also beer from Sydney Lager along with juice, soft drinks and Heineken 0.0.
In terms of food, you get to dig into a delicious seasonal menu with mains starting at just $18. Find tried and tested favourites like the acai bowl and avocado toast with confit cherry tomato. Also on the menu is souffle pancake with rhubarb compote and waffles benedict with lemon myrtle hollandaise.
With a gorgeous new look, Pumphouse Sydney offers a combination of old and new with a neat industrial design and amazing food and drinks to boot. Located in the heart of Darling Square, this breezy spot also features a timber bar and a cosy wine room allowing you a moment to rejuvenate and recharge after a long week.
