Tickets go on sale May 4.
Pinot Palooza, Australia’s favourite wine festival and the world’s largest pinot party, turns ten in 2021 and tickets to their highly anticipated celebration of the light-bodied wine go on sale in just a few days. (Featured image: Kelsey Knight via Unsplash.)
While details of this year’s event in October have yet to be released, as always the ticket price will include the entry fee into the event, chats with all the producers as well as all the tastings possible, which you will be doing in the Revel wine glass (valued at $25) that you get to take home with you.
Past years have seen more than 200 Australian and New Zealand wine producers showcasing their pinots as well as more from further afield like Argentina and, obviously, France. Due to the current situation though, it appears that this year will be a more intimate event with around 100 producers taking part, which is still plenty of sips and swirls.
On the day, pinot partiers will also get to pair their pinots with cheese and other wine-friendly eats. In between glasses of red, you can also get your hands on beers, ciders and vermouth because what’s a party without friends.
In Sydney, Pinot Palooza takes place on 1-2 October. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday 4 May.
