Sydney is no stranger to Oktoberfest and like every other year, there’s loads of beer, bratwursts and good times to be had. Dust off your lederhosen, dig out that dirndl and get excited for a huge blowout this September. Oktoberfest at Munich Brauhaus
Kicking off on September 16, Munich Brauhaus is bringing free-flowing beer, plenty of German food and a party that doesn’t stop.
The Yodelahihi From Oktoberfest set menu for six people will include crispy pork knuckle, pork belly, sausages, golden-crumbed schnitzels and heaps of side dishes. It’ll set you back by just $50 and it’s all you can eat. Win-win.
Highlights include German entertainers, live music and a sausage-eating contest on September 17 along with an oompah band and Oktoberfest dancers to get the party started. The Bavarian
Over at The Bavarian, you can expect much of the same. Feasting, partying and drinking take centrestage with set menus, beers on tap and more.
Feast on the OktoberBoss set menu for a minimum of four people or the Oktoberfest Mate set menu for a minimum of two people. On offer are meaty dishes and sides like pretzels, pork belly, sausages and schnitzels for just $49 per person.
A live oompah band will also perform until late on Saturday, September 16 at Manly, York Street, Castle Hill, Greenhills and Penrith for an opening party. $12 limited-edition pretzels are also part of the festivities including:
- Giant Pretzel Flammkuchen: Bacon, Swiss cheese, cream cheese, sauteed onions
- Giant Pretzel OktoberBoss: Lyoner, Swiss cheese, mustard, pickles

The celebrations at Munich Brauhaus kick off from Friday, September 16 until Sunday, October 9.
