Ever wished you could actually be a kid again and let go of your adult worries just for a bit? The Museum of Sydney might bring you one step closer to turning that desire into a reality with its vibrant new exhibition. Make time for PlayScapes, a stimulating series of engaging connected experiences that’ll transport you to a colourful land somewhere far away. Plus find a series of stimulating activities designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving and improve connection with others. It’s the ideal adventure for kids but let’s be honest, adults could use some of that escapism too.
PlayScapes, Museum of Sydney
PlayScapes is inspired by the rich and vibrant Sydney landscape with the colours and patterns symbolising our own diverse backyard. Guests will find a number of physically, cognitively, emotionally, and socially stimulating activities that are meant to foster creativity and imagination. Get your young ones along or simply head down to the museum for an escape from regular life. Come along to imagine and build your own little playscape with the help of some digital magic. The possibilities, as they say, are endless.
Developed in collaboration with creative agency Junior Major and multidisciplinary artist Beastma, PlayScapes is completely free to visit. Find it at the Museum of Sydney until June 4, 2023. See more information here.
